SUPERCILLIOUSNESS OF AN AMATEUR TELE-ACTRESS

Tele- Producers have faced trouble due the pride and disobedience of an amateur actress.

Many events are recorded where amateur Tele-actresses over generalize themselves, the very moment they become a little famous. A recent event was recorded during the shooting of Wasitha Samaranayake’s Tele drama “Jeewithayama Heenayak”.  This brawl has been created by an amateur Tele- actress. She was once an announcer and she had become famous after ‘Dance Stars Dance’ program. Who is she?
 She is none other than Menaka Peiris. She had asked for permission for leave to go for some of her personnel work during the scheduled period of shooting of the Tele- drama. The Producer and the Director had not given consent as they have wanted to take one of her scenes at that time.
She had rejected their decision by threatening them saying:
 “If I don’t have the freedom to do what I want, I will just leave this and go”.

As an alternative they have decided to stop shooting in the evening and asked her to attend her personnel work during the break. They have also showed her that she had to work mutually as she had signed the agreement. The actress who had showed her displeasure had told them:
 “I don’t care about those agreements and if you all can go to courts and file a case against me. I will leave this Tele-drama”.

The Artists and the Director had fallen into trouble due to her decision as they haven’t been able to finish the scenes in which she was supposed to portray the role she had undertaken, and as because they can’t just replace her character with another actress. As a last resort they, had replaced another actress newly to portray for her role and the shooting has had been extended.
