Two new Jathaka stories from Sirasa TV channel !

Sirasa has been successful in introducing two new Jathaka stories which were not among the 550 Jathaka stories which were already in the annals of our history books. These two are the new Sirisangabo and Kalagola Jathaka stories. Sirasa TV has announced that they are planning to hold a Muppet show of these Jathaka stories for the upcoming Wesak Poya celebrations in the Sirasa TV channel. The other Jathaka stories will be Wessanthara Jathakaya, Vidhura Jathakaya, Kalagola Jathakaya and Sirisangabo Jathakaya.
As we know Sirisangabo has been a king in Sri Lanka and the Jathaka stories are stories about Lord Buddha. At the same time, to interpret the issue of Kalagola which comes in Ummagga Jathakaya as a Jathaka story too is wrong. That is only a narrative.
Since these stories would mislead the children, they should be corrected.
