Sumdudu had gone to an isolated place and danced around with her crown:
Yesterday Derana Television telecast the comedy Miss Sri Lanka 2012 contest. Vinu Siriwardema was originally crowned as Miss Sri Lanka 2012 was shown with the crown together the other presents she had won and presented to her.
The contest was held once more. As originally owing to a arithmetical error, the original decision had to be revoked. Thereafter Sumudu Prasadini was crowned as the Miss Sri Lanka 2012.After completion of the contest, the presenter in English Gamya announced that both were declared as joint winners.
On that day all judges were clad very well, some of the in Denims were shown inside a room with gloomy faces. One of them announced that owing to an arithmetical error the crown is to be shared.
Subsequently announcer Gamya informed without the presence of judges, that the crown had been won by Sumudu Prasadini amidst applause from the audience. But Vinu was not captured into a photograph with Sumudu. If it was done the suspicion may have been avoided. Sumudu then had gone to an isolated spot and danced with her crown in a comedy manner.
Finally it was announced that Sumudu would be given all presents and benefits entitled for the winner of the contest. This contest is held once a year to select Miss Sri Lanka to represent the country at the Miss World contest. The ‘Derana’ Television had to unfortunately  telecast this programme in this unusual manner where the final happenings of this show could be seen from the video BELOW:
