A rare show of “Ayla Carts at Horana
Ayla cart shows are not seen commonly these days. In addition to that ceremonial dances were held on the plank of the cart. It was reported that such a show was held at Horana today (21st).
These carts were carrying dances who dressed in guise of the devils and they were dancing on the plank of the carts while the carts travelled along the roads of the Horana town. This show was held along with the Bak Maha festival celebrations organized by Horana Navodaya Organization.
