Shooting of “Siri Dalada Gamanaya” starts
Buddhika and Pushpika to enter as amateurs to the silver screen
The ‘Muhurat’ of the film “Siri Dalada Gamanaya” which carries the historical story of how ‘Dalada’ was brought to Sri Lanka was held yesterday. This is another creative effort of Sanath Abeysekara, the Director of “Mahindagamaya” and 400 actors including Ravindra, Ranjan, Sriyantha, Geetha, Dilhani, Bimal, and Piyumi are acting in this movie. Buddhika Kulasekara the programme producer at the’ Swarnavahini’ and the former Miss Sri Lanka, Pushpika Sandamali are to portray roles and enter the silver screen as amateurs for the first time through this movie.
This movie is to commence it’s shooting by the end of March at Mihinthale, Thambowa, and Colombo and in at several other places and the co-production is to be made by EAP Films along with Boseth Lanka Foundation. The album of the ‘Muhurat’ Ceremony depicting pictures could be viewed BELOW
