INDURUWA COUPLE HAD COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER BEEN MISSING FOR 5 DAYS

The couple had disappeared for 5 days:

The Police has now revealed all facts pertaining to the committing suicide of a couple by hanging by a rope in a hotel at Induruwa , the day before yesterday.
It is learnt that both of them had been living in Bomiriya area in Kaduwela. The male party is one Thushara Gunatilake, a 36 years old and the female partner was 27 years old, Udula Chamila jayasinghe.
Thushara had been married to Udula’s sister. They have had two kids , one 4 years old and the other just 4 months old. It is learnt that Thushara has had a secret love affair with Udula for some time. During the period his wife was expecting the second baby the love affair had reached a climax.
Thushara’s wife had questioned him about the love affair which had erupted to prolonged arguments. When the relations came to know about this love affair both had to face very embarrassing moments. They had promised the relatives that they will terminate the affair, their behaviour since then had not shown any signs of it and it was not to be.

Udula was a resident of Kundasale in Kandy. But she was employed in Colombo and hence had dwelled at her sister’s place, where the love affair had begun. In order to stop this love affair the only alternative was for to leave her job, which was not possible.
Last Thursday they had been caught been together in the house. This had given the way for a huge argument and uproar at the house between the sisters and Thushara. The next day on Friday both had left home for work and had knew that there is way to face the home crowd.
They have had long conversations over the phone and had not returned home, and probably may have decided to commit suicide as the only alternative.
They had booked in to the hotel on Tuesday evening.”When nothing was heard from the couple the following day, the hotel workers had knocked on the door as they were to leave at 11 a.m on the following day. As there was no response the employees had got on the balcony and viewed into room through the window of the room. When  they saw the couple hanging onto a room. The Manager had phoned the Kosgoda Police”, who had come and broken the door. Then all had seen the couple having committed suicide facing each other by hanging on to a rope made out of a bed sheet which was hung from a rafter on the roof of the bed room.
The end result of the serious illegal love affair had resulted in leaving two children deserted, devoid of a father.The photographs of the couple at after committing suicide could be viewed from BELOW:
