DUMINDA’S STATUS IS A QUESTION –CID

   The physical health condition of Duminda is not known- confesses CID:

The case regarding the slaying of Bharatha Lakhsman Premachandra was taken up for hearing at the Magistrates courts yesterday, The Member of Parliament Duminda Siva who is the main suspect in this case. The CID when questioned about his health present health condition by the lawyers of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra form the CID, the officers were floored and gave peculiar answers.
The reply given was that they knew he knew he was in a sick condition, and been treated in a country overseas and they were not aware of his present condition. The Magistrate asked what action the CID has taken to arrest him. The CID had told they need to seek the advice and permission of the Attorney General. The Magistrate wanted to know how long would it take?. He advised to take quick steps in this regard before the next hearing.
