A meteoric shower that could be heard to closed eyes:View the North East direction to see this rare occurrence:
From the 3rd January to the 10th it could be seen about 20 to 30 metric showers had been predicted by Chandana Jayaratna, Professor of Colombo University.
According to mainly his reports in the north east sky meteoric showers could be viewed clearly from North East direction from Sri Lanka’s time of 1 p.m. on the
4th i.e. tomorrow.Close to the planet Saturn its outside ‘Brutus’ stars space could be viewed clearly. This change is bound to change across the countries worldwide resulting in the occurrence of about 100 such meteoric showers, it is reported.
