Mervyn to be dealt with and punished severely-Maithripala Sirisena
If the allegations of bribery against Minister Mervyn Silva made by the Chairman and other officers of the Kelaniya Pradeahiya Saba are probed and proved action against him will be taken in accordance with the code of ethics of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. This was announced by the General Secretary Maithipala Sirisena.
He had totally denied all previous allegations made against him for corruption, bribery and other complaints.
Although there were strong allegations made against him they were never probed and investigated. Perhaps he was protected from having investigations from top Government sources.
Does the SLFP follow the code of ethics?
