MORATUWA BABY FARM CASE REJECTED

The baby farm case is fabricated and false:

Reveal correct information and then raid:
- Courts warn the Chairperson and the staff of the Child Protection Authority:

A few days back the Rawatawatta located Moratuwa baby farm was raided by the Officers of the Child Protection Authority accusing that the baby farm was run under the pretext of selling babies, particularly to foreigners as they were present at the time of the raid. Just because a complaint was received, the authorities had made a big issue and made it public in the local media bringing disrepute to the administrators of this baby farm. However when the case was heard today, the verdict in the judgement was that the accused was innocent. They had raided and filed action without finding and proving proper information.
The accusation in filing the case was that this baby farm was selling babies to foreigners at exorbitant prices and the number of infant babies and pregnant mothers did not tally with those recorded in the books maintained at the Child Protection Authority. The officers of the Child Protection Authority had come to a conclusion straight away as they saw some foreigners who had been present in the baby farm at the time of the raid. After this raid the Mother Theresa affiliated Sri Lankan Christian society consisting of high Catholic dignitaries had proposed as a protest not to celebrate Christmas this year considering the gravity of this false allegation and the manner this raid that was conducted. They were astonished in regard to this raid as this was run in accordance with the laid down rules of the Child Protection Authority and was a 100% genuine social service and not a lucrative business for someone to earn money.
However when it was found to be a genuine organisation the officers of the Child Protection Authority had turned to a different stand by saying that the employees were used to taking bribes by assisting in selling babies. They had filed action to prove that their suspicion is correct.
When the case was taken up today the additional Magistrate, Colombo, Yvonne Perera ordered to release the Warden of the baby farm. She warned the authorities of the Child Protection Authority to conduct their duties correctly in conformity to the laid down rules and regulations. She had ordered her to be released on the two counts, the Warden was charged. One was for selling babies and the other was having indulged in aiding the pregnant mothers in taking up to nefarious activities.
The Lawyer Neville Abenaike appearing for the warden thoroughly warned the Chairperson of the Child Protection Authority to act after correct facts have been revealed and proved and not to act on just a complaint made by an anonymous person.

  4. why are you reporting this case in this sort of a horrible language? Though you are a gossip page, please be decent of reporting about people. Because you make them guilty before the court do it. Court has found it is not a baby farm. But you are still insulting it by using term "Baby farm" there. It is really a horrible language. I think you need much attention from the people. That is why you are doing like this. I'm trapped to your horrible try. But don't play like this.Please. It's really horrible !
