Mohanlal Grero, a Colombo District Parliamentarian had voted for the Government in the budget voting and had vouched to render his fullest support to the Government
Earlier the talk was that Mohanlal Grero had decided to vote for the Government in the Budget voting and he was to be offered the post of Deputy Minister of Education.
During the last Municipal Election campaign he had some conflicts with the Heads of the UNP with regard to his objections in nominating Sunethra Ranasinghe to the Mayors post if elected. Owing to this he had not been in the good books of the UNP and its stalwarts.
He was once a leading lecturer in Physics and was very popular education personality. He is also the owner of a chain of International Schools very popularly known as ‘Lyceum’.
Although it is not confirmed reports he is to be offered the Post of Deputy Minister of Education.

We are sorry for the children who have attended your school and the present children who are attending your school, because they will also grow up to be citizens of low quality, no principles, shameless (ex. two legged ...)Were you sleeping all this time and suddenly got up to realized you have a duty to the country with out getting nominations from the U.N.P. why didn't you get from the P.A. you wasted our precious vote,we are bloody fools to vote for parayas like you, disgraceful, we are sorry for our children to have a deputy ministerr like you, bunga wewa
ReplyDeleteGrero is another 'Gus Gemba' like all the other who are jumping. He has always been an opportunists under the guise of being an educationist. Now his true colours are showing.
