Tremors felt at Pallekelle

On Sunday evening at 6.10 p.m. a powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquake had struck the city Sikkim city in North India. The tremors and waves of this powerful earthquake had been felt by the authorities of Pallekelle earthquake detection institution.
The damage caused by the powerful earthquake has not been estimated and disclosed to foreign countries. The earthquake has effected below 10 kilometres below ground level and the tremors to many buildings is reported and people had been seen walking along streets following the tremors.
Sikkmi city area which was affected is situated in North India is close to Bangladesh and its Dakka city. It is reported that there had been several harmless such earthquakes in the past too. As it is medium type of earthquake the Geographic Scientists had confirmed it as harmless.
