A strong protest owing to Ruwanwelle’s A.Sobitha’s indecent video:
It is reported today (Friday) at Ruwanwella at the spot where the disguised Thera, A.Sobitha had lived a strong protest had been made by monks as well as laymen.
It is reported that it was made to understand that the disguised monk had either gone into hiding or had fled the country, the protestors had broke open the doors and searched the premises. They had found liquor and other illicit items not used my monks.
This disguised monk was famous for ‘charming’, which was patronised by many as it was widely advertised in the media. It had been reported that in the pretext of helping him had insisted young girls to stay with him and it has been confirmed had brought ugly proposals. This was spread around, but no one really wanted to inquire into his ‘charming’ methods and the results of this millionaire monk.
In the ‘Neth’ FM’s ‘Belumgala’ programme had deployed some young girls , and was able to prove his camouflage. A girl who wanted a ‘charm’ to be done had been requested by Sobitha to be his Secretary. Sobitha had constantly telephoned this ‘decoy’ and had asked several questions as to whether ’you are slim’, ’the size of her breast’, whether it is nice looking etc..He had then asked her to come for a ‘fun’. All these indecent questions asked were recorded, when then after only when it was broadcast over the FM radio channel, people really came to know what type of person he was and what he was up to. After hearing it there was real uproar among the residents of Ruwanwella.

All these bastards need to be castrate.If they want to sleep or have sex with women that is completely all right in my opinion. In other words, they cannot control their minds. But there is a catch. You need to disrobe or leave the "sasana" to do so. Then it becomes your private and own individual mission. If you going to practice "Kamsapatha"(indulging sex, food, wine etc while train as bikkhu) while in robes that is "no, no." Most of these people in the United States start temples to deliver "Dhaham." Instead of that later they become "business people" with the help of stupid and ignorant lay people. If our government really want to protect "sasana" they should at least minimally monitor these individuals. Also news papers, TV Stations and radio Stations need to adopt a their internal ethical standard when they publishing these advertisements. This is embarrassment to innocent Buddhists in Sri Lanka and elsewhere and good and behaved clergymen.

I have done few things that you also can follow. You cannot discipline the whole sector or world. But you can do little things to improve and stopping these things happenings.
1. Identify a Bikkhu that well behave. Give him "Dana" and get his advise and do your meditation.
2. Get a way from big temples with pot bellied business clergymen.
3. Read and understand the "Dhamma" by yourself and teach others including your children.
4. Don't discourage anyone practicing Buddhism. There is nothing wrong with the Buddhism. Problem exist with individuals.
5.All true Buddhists need to get together and need to do a "Sangayana" in order to remove these culprit from the "Sasana."
Think about this and get united Buddhists. Don't discourage with these petty information.
