Neth is bad.........Hudson Samarasinghe

When a person clad in robes pretending to be Ruwanwelle Sobitha, vulgar recorded tape was broadcasted over the “Neth” FM radio channel during their programme ‘Belungala’ there was massive protest by the provoked people of Ruwanwella and the Buddhist Monks, just a few days ago.
After this incident it is reported that Sobitha Thera had submitted an affidavit to the Police to the effect that he would remove his robes. During a morning programme the Chairman of the SLBC, Hudson Samarasinghe had spoken about this incident.
Hudson had expressed his appreciation about Sobitha’s decision but was furious about the action of the ‘Neth’ FM radio channel, for boldly and publicly broadcasting this vulgar tape. He said in his usual loud tone that this FM channel in his view should be sealed.
At an earlier instance when the broadcasting rights of the cricket World Cup 2011 was given to a private radio channel ‘Derana’ radio instead of to the Government’s SLBC, Hudson was furious in his stand.
