HEALTH SECTOR TO IMPLEMENT COST CUTTING

MINISTER OF HEALTH WILL NOT APPROVE PAYMENTS OF BILLS TO FIVE STAR HOTELS

To have meetings of government departments in 5 star hotels and to pay huge bills has now become a tradition. Most of these meetings that are held in 5 star hotels are not so important. The auditoriums of the Ministries are more than sufficient to have these meetings. This will lead to saving a lot of money. The massive amounts of money paid for such meetings could be even utilised to double the emoluments of the ministry staff. The funds spent are from the taxes paid by our innocent people. Instead such money wasted could be diverted for the benefit of the poor masses.
He has instructed not to arrange any meetings at 5 star hotels in the future. His approval to pay such bills will not be given. Meetings where foreign delegates participate could only be held in 5 star hotels. If these meeting are held in many auditoriums and conference halls, the state have constructed this wastage of money could be avoided. The related officials have been advised in this regard not to have meetings in 5 star hotels in the future.
