Tiger Shroff, who creates thrilling scenes in Bollywood cinema, had to take the steering wheel of a car to save his life amidst a hail of bullets in his real life, at a moment no one expected. On October 18, around 7:00 PM, when this shooting occurred near Pushpa Park (or Pushpa Narsi Park) in Juhu, Mumbai, he was, as usual, getting into his BMW car after about two hours of football on a Sunday.

Three individuals arrived on a motorcycle for this attack, which took place approximately 100 meters from the Juhu police station. Two of them began firing at the car, with one firing several shots (according to reports, between 3 and 5 rounds) at the vehicle. It is reported that the other attacker's firearm jammed near the car window. The third person was ready on the motorcycle to flee. Many people nearby initially thought the sounds were firecrackers for the upcoming Diwali festival.

Tiger Shroff, son of veteran actor Jackie Shroff, who was seated in the car on the side of the attackers, immediately reacted and moved towards the driver's seat. As the driver had already been shot and injured, the actor himself took the steering wheel of the vehicle and fled from the attackers. It was later confirmed that he returned home with his face covered under police protection. Police suspect that the attackers had previously studied Tiger's daily routines.

No bullets hit Tiger Shroff's body in this attack. Although initial reports stated that he was unharmed or sustained minor scratches, it was later revealed after Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited him that the actor had gunpowder burn marks on his right hand. Additionally, photographs showed bandages applied to his hand, shoulder, and chest due to injuries caused by gunpowder and broken glass shards. Jackie Shroff's team also confirmed that "Tiger is doing well," and he was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle.

The actor's driver, Firdaus (or Firdosh), was shot in his left hand during the attack, and doctors state that he is receiving treatment at Nanavati Hospital and his life is not in danger. However, Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Western Region, Mohit Garg, officially confirmed that two individuals were injured in the incident. In addition to the driver, the other injured person is Umesh Chavan, a 35-year-old blogger who came to report the incident (some reports also refer to him as Yogesh Chavan or Chauhan, an auto-rickshaw driver). According to hospital reports, he was shot in the chest approximately 2 cm below his left nipple, and his condition is currently stable while receiving treatment at Cooper Hospital. No fatalities have been reported from the incident.

Following the attack, Mumbai Police tightened security in the area and deployed approximately 12 to 15 special police teams for investigations, recording statements from witnesses. Empty bullet casings were found at the scene, and forensic examinations were also conducted. During the inspection of CCTV footage along the route where the shooters fled via SV Road, the motorcycle they used was found abandoned near Andheri West railway station. In connection with the incident, one person has already been taken into police custody from the Santacruz area for questioning.

With this incident, a strong discussion has emerged in the political arena regarding law and order in Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti to take swift and strict action. The Deputy Chief Minister promised that underworld gang conflicts from the 1990s would not be allowed to resurface, and he also stated that VIP security would be reviewed. Minister for Cultural Affairs Ashish Shelar has also contacted the Shroff family. The peculiarity is that police reports had not previously indicated any threats to Tiger Shroff.

However, responsibility for this attack has been claimed by Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, via a Facebook post, an audio clip, and X accounts. They are reportedly operating under individuals like Hari Chand Jat, also known as 'Harry Boxer,' having fled to the United States via the 'dunki' method from Panipat, Haryana. They stated that Tiger had previously been warned about his association with Salman Khan. They also issued a 'final warning' that anyone in the Bollywood industry working with Salman Khan or ignoring their gang's warnings could be the next target. Furthermore, they emphasized that Salman Khan should apologize for the long-standing blackbuck poaching incident. However, the police have not yet independently confirmed the gang's involvement.

This is another extension of the series of alleged attacks linked to the Bishnoi gang against Bollywood VIPs associated with Salman Khan. Similar attacks occurred near Salman Khan's Bandra residence in 2024 and Rohit Shetty's Juhu residence in February 2026. As of the morning of October 19, 2026, a comprehensive investigation into the incident is underway, and CCTV footage of two suspects has been released to the media. However, the motive of the attack or the identity of the attackers has not yet been officially confirmed, and this incident clearly reflects the real-life risks faced by Bollywood stars today.
