Trump predicts Iran war will end soon; oil prices fall

US President Donald Trump delivered remarks at an event held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington D.C. on the 29th, local time.

On that occasion, he reiterated that the seven-month-long Iran war would end very soon.

“It will end very, very quickly,” Trump said.

He said that Iran would not acquire nuclear weapons and that the country was failing.

He also predicted that oil prices would fall to pre-war levels.

“Oil prices will fall to the same level they were before my short trip to Iran,” he said, again referring to the Iran war as a “trip.”

He mentioned that in the future, people would write books and record the history of America, and that they would consider what he did as one of the most important tasks.

Trump also commented on the competition regarding artificial intelligence between the United States and China.

He said that the term A.I. is being changed to “Super Intelligence” (SI).

He said that “fake news” was one of the great terms he created, and that from now on, it would be called “artificial news.”

The Trump administration had recently announced a policy of referring to artificial intelligence as “super intelligence.”

He also revealed that artificial intelligence was discussed at the summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping last week.

“We talked about it (A.I.), but not much,” Trump said, and then questioned, “Why would I do something like that when we are ahead?”

Issues between the two countries, including artificial intelligence, were discussed at the US-China summit.

Trump also expressed his reluctance to engage in joint ventures with China in the field of artificial intelligence.

“Someone said, ‘Let’s do a joint venture with China. Let’s cooperate with China,’ but if we do that, we would have to share many secrets that we have, which China or someone else wants,” he said.

“The winner of Super Intelligence will win. There will be a winner and a loser, and there will likely be no second place. We are ahead of China and all other countries, and I want to maintain that position. The only way to maintain that position is to continue doing what we are doing now. I don't want to suppress growth,” he emphasized.
