The story about Limini coming to the Anuradhapura meeting is Fake

The Namal Rajapaksa Media Unit (Namal Rajapaksa Media) has officially announced that several news reports circulating on social media regarding Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and his family members are baseless and founded on false information.

A news report released on social media by an account named "Warunakulasuriya Fernando" stated that Mr. Namal Rajapaksa was ill and had expressed a desire to receive treatment from the prison hospital. Furthermore, another post circulating via a Facebook page named "Ape Media" mentioned that Ms. Limini Rajapaksa was scheduled to appear on the Pohottu political stage in Anuradhapura on September 12th to fill the void left by Mr. Namal Rajapaksa.

Another news website had reported that Limini Rajapaksa's horoscope was as powerful as those of former leaders Sirima Bandaranaike and Chandrika Kumaratunga, and that her arrival was expected to create a stir.

The Namal Rajapaksa Media Unit further confirms that these fabricated and circulating news posts and images are marked as "FAKE NEWS", and that the information contained therein is entirely fabricated false propaganda.
