Famous singer Lionel Richie has been hospitalized due to a sudden heart attack.

It is reported that famous singer Lionel Richie has been hospitalized once again due to a heart condition. He is currently receiving treatment in the hospital for 'atrial fibrillation', a medical condition that causes an abnormal heart rhythm.

Doctors have referred him for a procedure called 'AFib ablation', which is not considered a major or serious surgery. This minimally invasive treatment creates small scars in the heart to block irregular electrical signals and restore a normal heart rhythm.

Due to this sudden health issue, three upcoming dates of the "Sing a Song All Night Long" concert tour, co-headlined by Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire, have been cancelled. This includes the concert scheduled for Saturday in San Francisco, as well as performances set for September 30 in Chicago and October 2 in Columbus, Ohio.

This is the third time Lionel Richie has been hospitalized within the past three months. Last August, after a concert, he was admitted to St. Louis Hospital for heart-related tests and was discharged home after receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for three days.

Previously, in June, during a concert in St. Paul, he had to stop the performance midway due to feeling faint and experiencing unusual discomfort. Subsequently, Suwasariya (ambulance service) personnel urgently hospitalized him by ambulance.
