නාමල් වෙනුවෙන් සීනිගමදී දේව කන්නලව්වක්

A special religious offering (deva kannalawwa) was held on the 20th at the historic Seenigama Devol Devalaya, requesting that legal justice be served to Mr. Namal Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, who is currently in remand prison. There, prayers were offered to the gods to nullify any conspiracies and undue political influence if such forces are pressuring for Mr. Namal Rajapaksa's imprisonment.

This religious program was organized by former Southern Provincial Council member Mr. Channa Saliya Mendis, with the intervention of the Galle District Organization of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

According to reporters Ahangama S. Diyagahage and Galle Gemunu Chandralal, a group of local government representatives and party members from the Galle District, including Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Galle District Organizer Tisara Gunasinghe, Karandeniya Organizer Nimala Bandu, and former Provincial Council member Chamli Vithanachchi, participated in this religious offering.
