A controversial situation has arisen regarding the death of Ketan Agrawal, a 26-year-old real estate businessman residing in Pune, India. A very important witness has come forward during the investigations being conducted into this matter.

Initially considered an accident caused by falling from Lohagad Fort, this incident has now been confirmed as a planned murder by his girlfriend, Siya Goyal, and her alleged illicit husband, Chetan Chaudhry. Indian media has reported that tourist visits to Lohagad Fort have also increased after the publicity surrounding this incident.

In connection with this murder case, the Pune Rural Police had also filed a 5,053-page charge sheet earlier this month. A third suspect, Ritesh Hange, a friend of Chetan, has also been arrested, and a total of three witnesses have come forward for this case.

The identity of this key witness, who visited Lohagad Fort with his friend's family, has been kept confidential by the police. According to him, as they were climbing the fort stairs, Ketan and his girlfriend Siya were walking together, and Chetan was walking behind them. The witness clearly remembers Chetan's face because he was wearing a 'hoodie' despite the high temperature. The witness had also asked Chetan why he was wearing a hoodie in such hot weather. After reaching the top of the fort, Chetan sat near a temple, and as Ketan and Siya moved forward, he again followed them. Meanwhile, another witness has also come forward regarding this incident, stating that he too met Chetan during the Lohagad climb and questioned him about the hoodie he was wearing, to which Chetan apologized and moved on.

When the main witness, who had briefly left the spot due to a stomach ache, returned, he saw Siya pointing towards Chetan. She then sat on the ground and kicked Ketan's leg, and Chetan, who immediately ran from behind, pushed the businessman off the cliff. The witness questioned Chetan about this incident he had witnessed, whereupon an enraged Chetan threatened to push him off the fort as well if he did not remain silent about it.

Terrified by this threat, he did not even tell his friend about it. After returning home, he also developed a fever and body aches. However, after learning about the incident through the media, five days after the incident, on June 23, he went to the police and reported what he had seen.

In addition to witness statements, investigators are also examining a large amount of digital evidence. The police have analyzed approximately 12 terabytes of technical data, including six mobile phones, nine pen drives, data backups, call records, and social media accounts. Examination of search history has revealed that the suspects had searched online for methods to delete data from iPhones, erase chat history, and prevent the recovery of deleted data. The police have already managed to recover some of the deleted digital information through forensic analysis.
