This government has started to deceive even the Mahanayake Theros - Harsha Rajakaruna

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Member of Parliament Harsha Rajakaruna has accused the current government of misleading the Chief Prelates of the country. Speaking at a press conference, he pointed out that the government is attempting to bring forward the 22nd Constitutional Amendment by deceiving them.

The MP emphasized that no one has influenced the country's existing judicial system and stated that if a government values democracy and does not intend to pursue an autocratic path, there is no need to take such measures.

Harsha Rajakaruna further stated that even though the current administration has no nation or religion, and no respect for the Buddha Sasana or religious leaders, he urges the government to immediately cease misleading the Chief Prelates.
