Someone connected to Epstein's notorious activities was found dead in a house in Paris.

Daniel Siad, a recruitment officer in the fashion industry accused of recruiting young women for Jeffrey Epstein, has been found dead at his home near Paris, France. Siad, 69, was one of several French nationals suspected of being connected to Epstein's network, and his body was discovered on Monday evening.

The cause of death has not yet been revealed, and authorities confirm that an investigation has been launched and an autopsy is scheduled to be conducted.

French prosecutors were investigating him in connection with human trafficking, rape, and numerous other criminal charges. Notably, Siad's name appeared in over a thousand Jeffrey Epstein-related files belonging to the U.S. Department of Justice, which were made public this year, providing a strong reason to suspect his activities. However, investigators had not yet questioned him, and it is reported that he had hoped to deny all accusations against him and declare his innocence before his death.

It has been revealed that he traveled the world, ostensibly to find women for the modeling industry, but in reality, he was fulfilling Epstein's needs. In an email sent to Epstein in 2014, he likened his work to 'fishing,' and close relationships and financial transactions between the two continued until a few months before Epstein's death. He also worked on a commission basis for over four decades under Jean-Luc Brunel, a prominent agent in Paris, New York, and Miami, who also committed suicide in 2022 while imprisoned on sexual abuse charges.

Former Swedish model Ebba Karlsson had filed rape charges against Siad, stating that he recruited her in Stockholm in 1990 when she was 20 years old and later raped her in France. Commenting on Siad's death, she expressed deep regret that his death, so close to his arrest, meant she had lost the opportunity to seek justice. The files further confirmed that messages exchanged between Siad and Epstein discussed finding women from countries such as Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

Responding to the accusations, Siad had told French television that he only introduced women to Epstein for legitimate modeling work with reputable agencies like Victoria's Secret and MC2, and that he was unaware Epstein had committed such crimes by betraying his trust. Siad stated that he eventually understood Epstein's cruelty, and before his death, he claimed he had never introduced minors to him and that his activities were purely professional.
