Harry and Meghan on a secret trip to a private island

Information has been revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have undertaken a secret trip to 'Tanera Mor', a secluded private island in Scotland, with their children, seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet. The couple, who have not yet taken their children to the Royal Family's Balmoral Estate, spent a holiday on the said island earlier this month.

The island was purchased in 2017 for £1.7 million by billionaire businessman Ian Wace. He has undertaken massive development on the island, spending over £100 million, planting around 100,000 trees, and renovating buildings and roads. It is also mentioned that the famous film 'The Wicker Man', released in 1973, was inspired by this island. A close friendship had also developed between Ian Wace's ex-wife, Saffron Aldridge, and Meghan, based on their shared interest in fashion. It is also noteworthy that more than half of the thousand visitors to the island last year were members of a charity dedicated to the welfare of armed forces and emergency service personnel.

Before this Scottish trip, Harry and Meghan also spent time at Althorp, Princess Diana's ancestral home in Northamptonshire, where they paid tribute at Princess Diana's grave. Additionally, they also joined King Charles and Queen Camilla for tea.

Meanwhile, reports have also revealed that among the VIPs who visited Canada between April 2015 and March 2020, the Canadian government incurred the highest security costs for Prince Harry and Meghan. The total amount recorded was $539,000. However, both representatives for Harry and Meghan, as well as the island owner's party, have declined to comment on this secret Scottish trip.
