දයා ගමගේගේ ව්‍යාපාර විනාශ කිරීම ආණ්ඩුවේ 'ගොබ්බ' වැඩක්

Samagi Jana Balawegaya Member of Parliament Prasad Siriwardana expressed these views at a meeting held yesterday (22).

"No one else but this government can do such a foolish thing. Daya Group of Companies was a large business network in Sri Lanka. The Daya Group of Companies continuously incurred losses in recent days. After incurring such losses, state banks foreclosed on its properties.

Today I saw a news report, widely publicizing and greatly exaggerating that the lands and properties of the Daya Group of Companies have been confiscated. No one else but this government can do such a foolish thing. In a country where people who went into business have ruined their businesses, and their properties being confiscated is exaggerated in this manner, businessmen are afraid to start new businesses. While investors are afraid to come to the country, Anura and Anura's foolish gang are glorifying these things.

In a country where things like confiscating properties when businessmen incur losses after doing business to generate employment should not be publicized, they are publicizing them and boasting about them. This is the distorted political philosophy they are pursuing. Businessmen and investors will only return to a country that hides their losses and failures and does not embarrass them. If a businessman incurs losses and, as a last resort, a property is confiscated, efforts should be made to keep it private and not publicize it. Because if not, other businessmen will be afraid and become inactive. However, this government is presenting this situation arising from business failures to society as an opportunity to unleash its political animosity on businessmen.
