Dilith Jayaweera, 10th Executive President of Sri Lanka

Addressing the Sarvajana Balaya May Day rally held today (01) at the Henry Pedris Stadium in Colombo, the party's National Organizer and former Minister, Mr. Dilum Amunugama, stated that renowned entrepreneur Mr. Dilith Jayaweera would be appointed as Sri Lanka's 10th dignified Executive President.

Joining the May Day celebration, Mr. Dilith Jayaweera, leader of the Sarvajana Balaya party and Member of Parliament, severely criticized the current government. He emphasized that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake's politics no longer have a future, and that the current government has committed the largest acts of corruption in the country within a very short period, thus they can no longer speak of being uncorrupted. Stating that this year's May Day has to be celebrated against an extremely tragic backdrop, he pointed to the mysterious death of a Ministry of Finance official who revealed the truth about hackers stealing millions of dollars as an example.

Mr. Dilith Jayaweera stated that his party's objective is to create a developed Sri Lanka, provide new hope to the younger generation contemplating leaving the country, and establish an economic and political environment suitable regionally as well as globally. The leader expressed strong confidence that the Sarvajana Balaya party will definitely come to power in the future, and pledged to defeat the current government and its supporting forces by unconditionally uniting all parties who love the country. He urged his party members to go to villages with data and facts to educate the people and motivate them to understand the truth.
