No discussions with Trump - Iranian Security Secretary Ali Larijani

Iranian National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani strongly emphasized on March 02, 2026, that Iran will not engage in any discussions with the United States. He stated this in a post on his 'X' account, rejecting media reports that Iranian authorities attempted to restart nuclear talks with the Trump administration following the American and Israeli attacks on Iran over the weekend.

Larijani further accused that the entire Middle East region has fallen into severe chaos due to American President Donald Trump's illusory and misleading ideas. He also pointed out in that post that Trump is in great fear that more American military lives will be lost in the current crisis.

This war situation has escalated after the assassination of nearly forty high-ranking officials in Iran, including Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran is continuously launching attacks targeting American assets established throughout the Gulf region. As a result of these attacks, one person has died in Bahrain, and Iraq and Kuwait have also reported further Iranian attacks against them.

Meanwhile, Israel has declared that it is currently launching severe attacks on the center of Tehran, the capital. International reports confirm that Israel is thus launching massive military operations against Iran as well as Lebanon, in response to a series of rocket attacks launched by Hezbollah on northern Israel.
