Last 24 hours Iran War Updates: Houthi rebels officially join the war against Israel

Further escalating the conflict in the Middle East, Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have officially entered the war by launching ballistic missile and drone attacks against Israel. Although the majority of these attacks were thwarted by Israeli defense forces, the intervention of this new party has severely affected international maritime traffic in the Red Sea and Gulf region.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces launched a massive series of airstrikes targeting missile production centers, naval headquarters, and universities located in several major cities, including Iran's capital Tehran. In light of this situation, the United States has also strengthened its military might, deploying an additional 3,500 troops and additional warships to the region, with reports indicating it is preparing to launch a ground operation against Iran.

In response to Israeli and American attacks, Iran has also continuously launched ballistic missile attacks targeting areas like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in Israel. Additionally, Iran has attacked American and allied targets in the Gulf region, and in an attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, 15 American military personnel were injured, with five of them in serious condition.

This war situation has now spread to Lebanon and Iraq, with a massive series of drone attacks launched against the American consular office in Erbil, northern Iraq, and surrounding military bases. Due to these conflicts, which have dragged on for over a month, a total of 3,461 deaths have been reported from Iran so far, of which 1,551 are civilians. Additionally, 1,189 deaths from Lebanon, 99 from Iraq, and 19 civilian deaths and 4 soldier deaths from Israel have now been confirmed.

With the aim of de-escalating the regional situation, the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt have held a special discussion in Islamabad, Pakistan, but no reduction in the war situation is observed. Meanwhile, against the ongoing war and its humanitarian tragedy, a massive series of protests has erupted in several cities including Tel Aviv, Israel, as well as in the United States, and clashes between protesters and security forces have also been reported in Israel.
