Foreign monk falls victim to tiger in Panama

A foreign monk who was meditating at the Bambarabgasthalawa, also known as Kudimbigala Aranya Senasanaya, located in the Panama Police Division, has passed away after being attacked by a tiger. This tragedy occurred yesterday (26) in the early hours of the morning, and the monk who passed away was a 43-year-old Czech national.

It is reported that this forest monastery (Aranya Senasanaya) is established in the middle of a dense forest, about nine kilometers away from the Panama area. In such a tranquil forest environment, many local and foreign monks constantly reside, engaging in meditation. The Czech national monk who was attacked also faced this unexpected wild animal attack while engaged in meditation activities at the forest monastery.

Immediately upon the incident being reported, the Panama Police acted swiftly and commenced relevant investigations. Accordingly, the police are currently conducting further investigations into this fatal tiger attack, which caused the demise of the monk.
