According to the monthly fuel price formula, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has taken steps to revise fuel prices for the month of February. This price revision came into effect yesterday (31) midnight, and accordingly, only the prices of Octane 92 petrol and Lanka White Diesel have been reduced.
According to the new price revision, a liter of Octane 92 petrol and a liter of Lanka White Diesel have been reduced by Rs. 02 each. Accordingly, the new price of a liter of Octane 92 petrol, which was previously Rs. 294, has been reduced to Rs. 292, and the new price of a liter of Lanka White Diesel, which was sold at Rs. 279, will become Rs. 277.
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation announced that the prices of other fuel types remain unchanged, except for these two types. Accordingly, Lanka Super Diesel, Lanka Kerosene, and Octane 95 petrol will continue to be sold at their existing old prices.
