Motorcyclist who damaged several vehicles with a weapon arrested

A motorcyclist who behaved riotously on the Kaduwela-Kollupitiya main road and damaged several vehicles with a weapon-like object has been arrested by Welikada Police.

Regarding this riotous incident that occurred yesterday (12) afternoon, a video showing the suspect damaging four vehicles is currently circulating on social media.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Welikada police officers acted swiftly, pursued the suspect, and managed to arrest him within a short period.

The suspect, who has been identified as a 29-year-old resident of the Ragama area, is scheduled to be produced before the court today, police said.

Further investigations related to the incident are being conducted by the Welikada Police Station.
