A group of Indian specialist doctors to Sri Lanka

A team of 05 specialist doctors from Kerala State, India, arrived in the country today (23) to provide essential medical facilities to the people affected by Cyclone Ditwa and residing in "Suraksha" camps in the Badulla district.

It is reported that this group arrived at the invitation of Mr. Ruwan Ranasinghe, Deputy Minister of Tourism.

The medical clinic, in which these doctors will participate, is scheduled to be held tomorrow (24) and the day after tomorrow (25), and a group of 25 people, including local doctors, is also scheduled to participate.

This team of specialist doctors arrived at Katunayake Airport today (23) at 04:15 PM from Chennai, India, by IndiGo Airlines flight 6E-1179.
