It was reported today (December 23) that the value of the Sri Lankan Rupee against the US Dollar remained stable in Sri Lankan commercial banks.
Accordingly, at Seylan Bank, the buying rate for a US Dollar was Rs. 306.25, and the selling rate was Rs. 311.50. Meanwhile, People's Bank reported that the buying rate for a dollar was between Rs. 305.99 and Rs. 306.14, and the selling rate was between Rs. 312.74 and Rs. 312.89.
At Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates for a US Dollar remained unchanged at Rs. 304.24 and Rs. 312.75, respectively. Meanwhile, Sampath Bank reported the buying rate for a dollar as Rs. 306.25 and the selling rate as Rs. 312.75.
