Sri Lankan Ambassador Meets Bahraini Crown Prince

Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Bahrain, Ms. Shanika Dissanayake, met with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, this week (December 14) at Gudaibiya Palace in Manama.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bahrain stated that Ambassador Dissanayake conveyed the greetings and warm wishes of Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya to the Crown Prince, and also extended her felicitations on Bahrain's 54th National Day, which falls on December 16.

The Ambassador briefed the Crown Prince on the multifaceted bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Bahrain, highlighting opportunities for future cooperation, particularly in the fields of trade and investment.

In his remarks, the Crown Prince emphasized the long-standing bilateral relations between Bahrain and Sri Lanka and appreciated the contributions of the Sri Lankan community in Bahrain.

He further underscored Bahrain's commitment to strengthening and expanding cooperation with Sri Lanka across various sectors.
