Pakistan Dominates India to Clinch U19 Asia Cup Title

The Pakistan youth team today triumphed over arch-rivals India in the final of the U19 Asia Cup Cricket tournament, securing the championship title with a dominant 191-run victory.

After India won the toss and elected to field, the Pakistan youth team, batting first, posted a formidable total of 347 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 50 overs.




Sameer Minhas led the charge with an outstanding knock of 172 runs, ably supported by Ahmed Hussain (56 runs) and Usman Khan (35 runs). For India, Depeesh Devendran was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, while Henil Patel and Kilan Patel claimed 2 wickets each.

Chasing a daunting target of 348, the Indian U19 team faltered, being bowled out for a mere 156 runs in just 27 overs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi offered some resistance with 26 runs, but his dismissal triggered a rapid collapse of the Indian innings.



Among the Pakistani bowlers, Ali Raza was exceptional, claiming 4 wickets, while Mohammad Saiyam, Abdul Subhan, and Huzaifa Azan each contributed with 2 wickets.

With this emphatic victory, the Pakistan U19 team proudly claimed the Youth Asian Championship title. Sameer Minhas was deservingly awarded both the Man of the Match and Player of the Tournament accolades.
