One Killed in Dehiwala Shooting

 A person has died in a shooting that occurred on Saturday (06) night near the A Quarters playground in the Dehiwala area. Police confirm that the shooting took place around 8:00 PM.

The 34-year-old individual, who sustained serious injuries in the shooting, died after being admitted to Kalubowila Teaching Hospital for treatment.

This murder was carried out by an unknown gunman, and

no information has yet been revealed regarding the firearm used in the crime or the immediate cause of the killing.

Dehiwala Police Station is leading efforts to apprehend suspects related to the incident, and several other police teams have jointly launched extensive investigations.
