Mrs. Latha Walpola's funeral arrangements with full state patronage at Independence Square

The government has decided to conduct the final rites of the late Kalashuri Latha Walpola under full state patronage.
The body is scheduled to be placed at Jayaratne "Respect" Funeral Parlour in Borella from 4 PM today (28) until Tuesday (30).

Subsequently, the body is scheduled to be brought to Independence Square on Wednesday (31) from 9 AM to 3 PM for public homage and state honours.

It is reported that, according to her last wishes, the final rites are scheduled to be held at the Borella General Cemetery that evening.

This funeral will be held under full state patronage.
