A mobile service is currently underway to issue death certificates for individuals who died and went missing due to the destruction caused by Cyclone Ditwa.

This mobile service, organized jointly by the Central Regional Office and the Divisional Secretariat with the participation of the Registrar General's Department, facilitates the acquisition of damaged marriage, birth, and death certificates, and the submission of relevant documents.

However, the ceremonial issuance of death certificates, publicly announcing the names of those who died in the disaster, and the videographing and photographing of these events for public dissemination have drawn severe criticism on social media.
