A special program was implemented with the aim of improving the mental well-being of the people affected by the landslides in the Kothmale area due to the impact of Cyclone Ditwa. Accordingly, a group of artists visited the Ambatale displaced persons' camp in Kothmale, met with the displaced individuals residing there, spent time with them, and presented a series of entertaining programs.

Many popular artists, including Tharindri Fernando, Priyantha Sisira Kumara,

Semini Iddamalgoda, Kalana Gunasekara, Dasun Pathirana, Chathura Rajapaksha, Chamathka Lakmini, and Danushi Dissanayake, participated in this welfare program organized under the patronage of the Mahaweli Centre. They contributed to healing the minds of the affected people by singing songs and engaging in various activities together with the displaced communities.

This program is not limited to just one camp; it is planned to be implemented in many other displaced persons' camps established across the Kothmale area in the future.
