AKD to Visit Dubai

President Anura Kumara Disanayaka to Visit UAE for World Government Summit 2025

President Anura Kumara Disanayaka will embark on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from February 10-13, 2025, at the invitation of UAE President Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The visit is scheduled to coincide with the World Government Summit 2025, which will take place in Dubai.

During his visit, President Disanayaka is set to address the Summit and engage in bilateral talks with President Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The discussions will cover a wide range of areas of mutual interest. In addition, he will meet with UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

President Disanayaka is also scheduled to hold meetings with various Heads of State and Government officials attending the Summit. Moreover, he will engage with prominent CEOs from leading global companies in key sectors such as IT, AI, Energy, Tourism, Finance, and Media to explore potential investment opportunities for Sri Lanka.

This visit is expected to further strengthen the strong bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.
