Public Service Comes to work for 4 days and works from home on Friday - Minister of Public Administration

 Public Administration Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said on Sunday (5) that as a solution to the current fuel crisis, the government service will soon make changes to the way it comes to office for four days and the fifth day from home on Friday. He says the change could save fuel for public transportation. ‘We have decided to formulate a national transport policy to save as much fuel as possible and to reduce the amount of fuel as much as possible. It is proposed to transform the public service into a four-day duty week and to make Friday an additional working day from home. He explained.
