11 infected in Pathadumbara, Menikhinna, Kundasale, Thalathuoya, Gampola, Bambaradeniya and Hasalaka

Eleven Army personnel from the Central Province who worked at the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center have been diagnosed with Covid19 infection. Central Provincial Health Director Dr Arjuna Tilakaratne said.

At present, 04 people in the Matale District and 7 in Kandy have been reported to have been infected with corona.
 The Director of Health stated this at a media conference held in Kandy yesterday (14th).
The officers are reported from Pathadumbara,

Menikhinna, Kundasale, Thalathuoya, Gampola, Bambaradeniya and Hasalaka areas.
Of these, the first-class Iron PCR. The Director said that all necessary precautions have been taken until the investigation reports are received and that the health sector, the police and the army are working to prevent the spread of the virus to the society by identifying and quarantining them. First Class PCR, The Director of Health, said that the risk would be reduced if the tests were negative, but that all safety measures had been taken to deal with the situation.

Meanwhile, among the family members of the victim in the Kundasale area who worked at the Kandakadu Narcotics Rehabilitation Center, his wife and father were infected with Kovidi 19. Central Provincial Health Director Dr Arjuna Tilakaratne said yesterday (14th).
The officer had been on leave at his home and after learning that he was infected with Kovid 19, the family's three daughters, wife and father were taken to PCR test.
