Wasantha Senanayaka comes to rally during Gotabhaya's speech ... on shoulders of people!

State minister holding portfolio for foreign affairs Mr. Wasantha Senanayaka has attended the Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna public rally held in Polonnaruwa yesterday by expressing support to presidential candidate Mr. Gotabhaya. When the rally was in progress at Polonnaruwa Maithri playground and when Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was speaking, it was curtailed for a moment and Mr. Wasantha Senanayaka happened to arrive there on shoulders of the public and step on stage and thus offer his support. 

Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has on that occasion not anticipated this arrival which was perhaps
apparent by his words as to why Wasantha was getting ready to step on stage at the moment ... all this being recorded on the video. In any case when he happened to come on stage from through the crowd, it was something special to notice that he had a green-coloured hat on his head. Having come to stage has embraced Gotabhaya and later bestowed several flower-buds to Gotabhaya and then waved his hands to the public around. 

Mr. Wasantha Senanayaka who represents United National Party has recently expressed ideas of criticism about the party. Wasantha Senanayaka in fact has kept a record of being the member of parliament who during a short period of time has appeared in the UNP at one time and on another occasion with the Alliance.
