"Thanks to all who helped Gotabhaya win!" - Namal

Though final official result of presidential election held yesterday has still not been released, member of parliament, Namal Rajapaksa has released a video that his candidate is victorious. 

Namal who says that it is displayed that the trust pinned on his father Mahinda Rajapaksa to push
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to victory as the 7th executive president was evident and that he thanks those who dedicated themselves for four and a half years for that purpose and that he wishes to thank those who went to prison and those subjected to revenge and that this is the result of their dedication and ended up by saying that the power behind this was the dedication of Mr. Basil Rajapaksa. He added that the victory should be enjoyed peacefully and that this country should be paddled towards a new path. 

He further said that though he thanks public in the South for having voted for Gotabhaya, those statistics cannot be considered as votes cast for Sajith by the public in the North. He mentioned that votes in the North were for the Tamil Alliance. Namal Rajapaksa said that democracy was stabilised by the war coming to a close and that the Tamil Alliance will no longer be a decisive power in the country.
