Yoshitha - Nithisha wedding ceremony on Thursday (3) at Galle Face hotel
It is reported that opposition leader Mahinda Rajapaksa's second son Yoshitha Rajapaksa's wedding ceremony is to be held at Galle Face hotel on Thursday (3) morning at 9.30 .A few months previously Yoshitha's engagement was held where only intimates of the family were held and that was in last July.
The bride by name is Nithisha Jayasekera and is the daughter of Mr. Ananda Jayasekera. The

It was earlier revealed that Yoshitha Rajapaksa's service with the navy was suspended because of a matter concerning litigation and quite abruptly it was revealed that he was reinstated in his position on instructions of president Maithripala Sirisena with the motive of granting navy honours in retrospect of his service with the navy. It incidentally was a personal favour given to Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa by president Maithripala Sirisena, reports were published. After he was reinstated last week in service with the navy and Yoshitha joined yesterday (1) and yesterday itself he was afforded a promotion by being elevated to the temporary rank of lieutenant commander. Such a promotion was given in accordance with navy regulations and law with approval of the ministry of defence, it was reported.
