Student who goes into fit of anger ... brings father and brother and assaults principal!

A student who is supposed to have lost his temper over advice given by the principal of the school has summoned his father and brother to school has gone to the extent of assaulting the principal as a result of which the latter was admitted to hospital. Ulapane area belonging to Gampola education zone has faced this incident.

It is Mr. A.H.M. Ansar the principal of that school who was hospitalised because of being subjected to an attack with a club and fisticuffs. The said principal has advised a certain student of year 11. The student who went into a rage has called his father and brother living in Ulapane itself and has informed them that the principal has beaten him after which the father and brother being summoned to school have approached the principal's room and then assaulted the principal in this manner, according to information received by police. 

After the said incident they had damaged property in the principal's room and have left the school premises after making threats. Students of the school have engaged in a protest after this incident which took place on 23rd morning while teachers have expressed their opposition against the incident concerned asking that the suspects be arrested and thus had engaged in a strike. 

The principal hospitalised says that eight year students have complained to the class teacher about a certain romance about the student referred to and that initially this student has tried to assault the class teacher. Later this student's father and brother have have come to school armed with a club and have even chased away students who these days are sitting for the G.C.E. (ordinary level) examination and had created a big commotion in school, the principal further mentioned. Subsequently they had made an attempt to even assault the teachers after which the principal was assaulted in this manner. 

This student who has come from a Madrasa school was someone who was even earlier subjected to various complaints and has police complaints to his credit, the principal said and also mentioned that he is sad that the parents are agitated this way. Gampola police who carried out inquiries over this incident have taken the student's brother into custody and have launched search operations of suspects who are in hiding.
