Story about truth of Gota being Sri Lanka's President for 20 years according to astrologer who foretold Mody's victory 

A story which circulates these days speaks about Gotabhaya would be ruling Sri Lanka for 20 years as told by foreteller who told that Mody would be victorious. This pice of news has been published by a new website launched these days for political propaganda and it was found that this news has been created to indicate their support. The news which incidentally gives no clue about its source goes as follows.

'In accordance with a certain prediction made by Indian distinguished astrologer Mr. Sunil Varsnai
that Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, his victory has been confirmed therein. It was way back in 2003 that he has foretold that present Indian Prime Minister Mr.Mody would come into power thrice. In the same way he has forewarned Indian government from a long period of time about the Tsunami tragedy of 2004. 

In the same way, he had in fact he has foretold in the year 2007 that India and Sri Lanka would be reaching the finals in the 2011 world cup and that India would be clinching the cup. In this manner, there are a host of predictions where he was  accurate this way. The forecast he has made in relation to Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is indeed phenomenal. Accordingly, Mr. Gotabhaya would become President through votes of Sri Lankan Sinhala public towards the end of this year. Subsequently, he has said that the masses themselves would elect him the President of this country because of the distinguished service rendered to the government indefinitely five or six times and that it would be the longest tenure of a President of Sri Lanka'. 

The said website further mentions: 'Accordingly, after Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa would become the President from votes of the majority of Sinhalese public of Sri Lanka at the end of this year and he would call for a parliamentary election in forthcoming January and would expel all unsuitable elements close to him and would provide an opportunity for those suitable to come forward for the election. 

After the general election, Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa who would be limiting the cabinet to 30 would be making former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to the position of Prime Minister of this country. Pinning much faith on Mr. Mahinda, he would have equal faith on his blood relations as well and would be bestowing a number of important designations for protection and development of the country. The speciality would be that there would be no opposition from the public as was previously. 

The next most significant task of Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa would be to mete out punishment to fraudsters of the central bank bond scam. According to Mr. Sunil Varsnai, several fraudsters including Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha and Ravi Karunanayaka would have to undergo a 10 year rigorous jail sentence in the year 2020. He has already forecast that this country would be the foremost country where freedom of the press would be best practised. He has also mentioned that after Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa becomes President, the rate of the country's production would escalate to about 15% and it will be one of the highest values in the world'.

All in all, when perusing the internet an astrologer by the name of Sunil Varsnai cannot be found. Whatever it is, when inquiring into the photograph published with the said new item, it was possible to find that the photograph belongs to an astrologer named Sunil Dr. Sunil Tripathi. However he is not published any such forecast. No such forecast has been published in any Indian newspaper or website. 

It came to be known that he is just one ordinary person who maintains a facebook page and a website practising ordinary astrological activities in Varnasi area in India from among hundreds of thousands of astrologers in that country. Any prediction of recent times of this nature or for that matter any comment about Mody neither is to be seen therein. 

This publication or report is something that Sri Lankan supporters have created for propaganda purposes. At first glance, what can be identified is that somebody has extracted an image of an astrologer from the internet and has inseminated it as the story which suits them and circulated it across websites and favourable facebook pages in this country.
