Dilrukshi Dias Wickremasingha suspended from work
The public services commission has decided to interdict solicitor general of attorney general's department, Dilrukshi Dias Wickremasingha who was involved in a controversial telephone call with chairman of Avant Garde, Nisshanka Senadhipathi.
It was proved from the inquiry conducted that she has neglected responsibilities of state service by engaging in a personal telephone discussion with chairman of Avant Garde. This decision has been
arrived at after the inquiry carried out on her telephone dialogue whereafter she has been suspended from her duties temporarily yesterday. Attorney general's co-ordinating secretary, Miss Nishara Jayaratna stated that the decision arrived at by public service commission was informed her by attorney general's department.

Attorney general Mr. Dappula Livera has asked for a written request from public services commission yesterday (23) to conduct an inquiry over this telephone conversation. A working officer has been installed for the post concerned on behalf of Mrs. Dilrukshi.
