Pallewattha and Nagananda work towards one national candidate at Presidential election

Presidential candidates Nagananda Kodituwakku who was subjected to much talk recently and Rohan Pallewattha for deciding to provide support to one national candidate across an organisation known as national alliance of alternative forces and have come into one agreement at a meeting held today (16).

They have agreed to give support to one national candidate selected by the national alliance of

alternative forces to reject 225 0 + 1 and to change the entire foundation.

It has been informed that almost 150 organisations and over 35 associations belong to the national alternative conciliation and as there are several candidates votes are scattered; it has been decided to work for one national candidate. They have informed that the candidate nominated by national alliance of alternative forces would be revealed on August 22nd. It was also informed that only Podu Jana Peramuna has informed  that future Presidential candidate would be Gotabhaya Rajapaksa while the JVP candidate representing National Jana Balavegaya would be a member from the JVP and that it will be announced on 18th. Only the UNP and SLFP have publicised that they will be announcing their candidate.
