MP's son deals blow with club -- police officer hospitalised!
An incident is reported of a son of member of parliament, Mr. Sisira Abeysekera having dealt a blow on a constable attached to the police security division. He has suffered injuries and is warded at Chilaw general hospital.
It is understood that this officer was posted for security purposes of the house and the MP's son has got involved in an argument with this officer and having lost his temper, he had got hold of a pole in
the house and has started dealing blows on the police officer. The victimised officer is presently under treatment at Chilaw hospital. He has however before being admitted to hospital had lodged a complaint with Chilaw police about this incident.

It is police constable Susantha Aruna Kumara (60990) who has suffered injuries and he had been attached to the MSD. Son of UNP member of parliament of Puttalam district,Shantha Sisirakumara is alleged to be involved in this incident and by now MP's son too has complained against the said constable. Chilaw police are conducting further inquiries in this connection.
